Joseph T. Fanning, 25, and Melissa Hoegler, 35, both of Hazleton, are facing charges in connection with a theft in Rush Township on Feb. 20.

The two were involved with stealing merchandise valued at $396 and will be charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy.Fanning also faces charges of criminal conspiracy for his involvement in a retail theft from the HT Commons Walmart on March 3.
