Two Tamaqua residents will be cited in connection with the theft and use of another man's ATM card.

The victim spoke to police at 8:17 a.m. Feb. 11 and said someone had used his bank card without his permission. After checking bank records, it was determined that an unauthorized purchase was made at the Fegley Mini Mart on Center Street, at 6:21 p.m. Feb. 9. The purchase was for $106.45.Surveillance footage from the store identified the people involved with the purchase. John Joseph Schlauch, 30, of 14 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, used the card to make the purchase, while Terri Kates, 35, picked up the merchandise and took it out of the store.Both will be charged with receiving stolen property.
