A Walker Township man has been cited by Tamaqua police following an incident on Feb. 21.

Jake Aaron Love, 20, of 250 Whitetail Crossing Road, was involved in an argument with his girlfriend, which was reported to police at 3:50 a.m.When officers arrived at the girlfriend's apartment on East Broad Street, they found Love and a half case of beer.The furniture inside the apartment had been flipped upside down and clothing was strewn all over the floor.Love appeared to be drunk, then admitted to drinking beer and having a fight with his girlfriend. He told police he lost his temper and trashed the apartment.Officers transported him to his home after citing him for underage drinking.
