Rush Township Police are preparing to file charges against Ronald Hartung, 60, of New Ringgold, following a traffic stop on March 9.

Hartung was stopped on Lafayette Avenue at 5:13 p.m. The officer detected signs of intoxication and transported Hartung to Schuylkill Medical Center South in Pottsville for blood tests. Results of the tests indicate the driver had a blood-alcohol content of 0.246 percent, three times the legal limit of 0.08.He will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations.
