State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence arrests.
On March 8 at 7:46 p.m. troopers stopped Cord James Eberhart, 19, of Effort, along Long Mountain Road at Hill Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for traffic violations. It was determined that Eberhart was under the influence. He was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.Police said they also found Eberhart in possession of marijuana. The DUI charge is pending the test results.On Sunday Evan Tyler Keeney, 26, of Reading, was stopped along Route 209 at the Bagel Bunch restaurant in Mahoning Township for vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and submitted to a breath test. The test revealed a 0.17 BAC. Keeney was charged, troopers said.
