State police at Lehighton reported on burglaries being investigated.

Troopers said a break-in occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Maple Spring Drive, Polk Township, Monroe County, on Wednesday. The home was vandalized but troopers did not indicate if anything was taken. The incident was reported at 8:35 p.m.An entry was made to a residence in the 100 block of Tiffany Court, Polk Township, on Wednesday. Troopers said items were removed from the home. The incident was reported at 7:30 p.m.A property in the 1100 block of Route 209, Sciota, was entered and removed was a battery from a Toyota forklift. The incident occurred sometime between Feb. 1 and Tuesday.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
