State police at Frackville are investigating an attempted burglary at a Schuylkill County fire company.

Troopers said unknown criminals attempted to gain entry to the South Cass Township Fire Company, located at 14 Water Lane, in the village of Primrose, at 2:44 a.m. on Sunday. They were apparently scared off when the alarm system went off, troopers said.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
