Class party

Members of the 1965 class of Jim Thorpe High School will enjoy their Christmas party at Dom N Ali’s Restaurant, Route 903, Penn Forest Township at noon Thursday. Those planning to attend should bring an item for the Carbon County Food Pantry, such as paper products or health and beauty aids.

The winners of the gold tickets for the month of November at the L.B. Morris Elementary School are as follows: Daniel Nelson, Gabriel Melber, Brianna Sniksy, Yossaf Gracia, Savanah Elchami, Dani Rimsky, Melina Schwartz, Philip Cicchinelli, Eva Getz, Virginia Little and Mariah Strohl.

Olde Tyme Christmas

The Sunday school children of St. John’s Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will present their annual “Olde Tyme Christmas” program at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium of the church. Following the program refreshments will be served.
