Two defendants under the supervision of the Carbon County Adult Probation Department were cited by Jim Thorpe police for incidents a the courthouse.

The two appeared at the probation office in the courthouse for a urine screen as part of their supervision. The two were charged with violating conditions of the urine screen.Charged were Christopher Andrew Strauss, 25, of 24 Spring House Road, Lehighton, for an incident on Jan. 23 at 4:20 p.m.; and Patrick John McLaughlin, 21, of 458 Mahoning St., Lehighton, for an incident on Jan. 9 at 4:29 p.m.
