Tresckow man facing charges

A Tresckow man falsely identified himself to police during a heroin trafficking investigation, according to Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith.

Bradesky Junior Santos, 21, of East Market Street, used the name Joshua Mejia when he was interviewed March 26 at the Carbon County prison.Santos told police he didn't sell drugs to Brittany Vincent and implicated her as the dealer of the heroin seized from him.Initially, Santos said Erik Feliz sold Vincent the drugs at Gypsy Hill Gardens in Lehighton.Police learned Santos had lied about his identity when results of a fingerprint scan were returned.Mejia is a real person, however, and police named him as a co-conspirator with Santos in a heroin trafficking operation.Santos faces charges of making a false written statement, fabricating physical evidence, unsworn falsification to authorities and falsely incriminating another person.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 6 at 2:30 p.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Casimir Kosciolek of Lansford.
