A Schuylkill County man has been charged with domestic assault following an incident that occurred at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday at 122 Strawberry Lane in Ringtown, Union Township.

State police at Frackville said Jeffrey Houser, 39, of that address, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic incident involving a 37-year-old Ashland female as the victim.Houser was arraigned before a district judge and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
