Several people were cited for violating the Quality of Life Ordinances in the past two weeks.

Cited for having accumulated rubbish/garbage were: Jonathan Miller, 25 and 29 Center St., first offense; Anthony Boyle, 653 Arlington St., second offense; Cherie Neyer, 266 W. Cottage Ave., first offense; George Miller, 226 W. Cottage Ave., first offense; Karen Carrico, 419 Pine St., first offense.Sergio Rodriguez was cited for three violations at 117 Penn St. They included accumulated rubbish/garbage, having indoor furniture outside and having storage containers for waste/trash placed out for collection more than 24 hours in advance. All three were first offenses.Tim Hanna of 346 Arlington St. and Edward Bartek of 330 Hazle St. received first-time citations for having furniture placed outside.The fine for a first-time offense is $25, while the fine for a second offense is $50.
