Maggie Burkhardt has joined the Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Association staff as director of membership and development.

Burkhardt holds a Bachelor of Science in sports marketing from Duquesne University, where she also holds a minor in sales. She is currently a member of the Sports Marketing Association and was active with the American Marketing Association, while attending Duquesne.

As the Director of Membership and Development, Burkhardt will focus on the needs of member companies.

In her new role, she will coordinate the development and promotion of MAEA members through roundtables, events, and various other programs and services.

MAEA is a private, nonprofit, membership-based organization that currently serves more than 345 member companies in 20 counties. We offer member companies many different services so they can succeed in today’s competitive business environment.

These services include human resources support, over 100 short-term trainings, legislative updates, surveys, and group programs that save time and money.
