A Carbon County man was found to be driving under the influence during a traffic stop late last year.
At 2:27 p.m. Dec. 27, Mahoning Township Police stopped a vehicle on Route 443 for an equipment violation.The driver of the vehicle, James Fenimore of Weissport, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.A blood test showed the presence of methadone.As a result, Fenimore has been charged with two counts of DUI, a misdemeanor, and unlawful activities, a summary offense.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 17.
