A woman was found to be under the influence of alcohol following a DUI checkpoint stop conducted earlier this year.

At 6:47 p.m. March 15, Mahoning Township Police contacted a vehicle on Route 902 at a DUI checkpoint.The driver, Dawnellen McKeegan, 52, Lansford, was found under the influence of alcohol.A blood test showed a BAC of 0.11 percent.As a result, McKeegan has been charged with two counts of DUI, a misdemeanor.A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 17.
