A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Angela & Adriana Italian Food & Pizza, 12-14 Broad St., Beaver Meadows, was cited for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor. The alleged violation occurred on May 29.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose fines, ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses, and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition the judge can imposed a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
