State police at the Fern Ridge barracks were summoned to Chestnuthill Township in the past week to investigate a burglary.

The home is located on the 1600 block on Sugar Hollow Road, Effort.Police said between 10 a.m. Aug. 1 and 8:20 p.m. Aug. 7, someone trespassed onto the victim's unoccupied residence, damaged a padlock on the front door and forced entry into the doorway.No other information was provided by police.
