Joseph James Redner, 38, of 80 Pine Hill Road, New Ringgold, was cited by Tamaqua police after an Aug. 24 incident at the Fegley Mini Mart, 30-32 Center St.

The store manager contacted police after Redner pocketed a candy bar and a pack of gum. The theft was recorded on surveillance video.Redner was charged with retail theft.
