State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of an 8,500-watt Generac generator valued at approximately $2,300 from a barn in Jackson Township, Monroe County.

The victim is a 49-year-old man from Paramus, New Jersey, whose barn located along Alpha Drive in the township was entered and the generator stolen between July 12-19.
