At the Panther Valley school board’s meeting last week:

• The school board recognized intermediate school secretary Francine Willing-Preuhs, who is retiring after 44 years with the district, and intermediate school nurse Kathy Inama, who is retiring after 30 years. Board members presented them with flowers and gave a standing ovation.

• Members of the junior-senior high school computer fair team and academic team shared their award-winning presentations with the board.

• Superintendent Dennis Kergick recommended that the board pass a resolution opposing ESA voucher programs.
