A Luzerne County man was killed in a crash early this morning.

State police at Hazleton said Jason John Shulenski, 31, of Drums, was killed in a one-vehicle crash at 2:15 a.m. in the area of Conyngham-Drums Road, in Sugarloaf Township.Troopers said he was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion westbound when it left the road on the north side and struck a utility pole shearing it in half. Upon impact the Ford spun clockwise and continued in a westerly direction and made a second impact with a large tree where it came to rest.Shulenski, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was wearing a seat belt, troopers added.
