Palmerton Police Department continues to investigate the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernaliaCriminal charges were filed against Jarrett Ahner, 44, of Lehighton, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired inspection. The incident occurred on Oct. 4 at 8:02 p.m. on Route 248 west.DUICriminal charges were filed against Bernard Taschler, 59, of Lehighton, for DUI, careless driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and driving on the right side of the roadway. The incident occurred on July 11 at 11:23 p.m. on Route 248 east.Retail theftCriminal charges were filed against Tanya Partington, 25, of Palmerton, for retail theft and receiving stolen property. The incident occurred on Sept. 16 at 11:20 a.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Police also issued three citations for vehicle violations, and one for a traffic violation.
