Rush Township Police arrested Carl Rex Jr., 40, of Tamaqua on Sunday in the parking lot at HT Commons. on an outstanding warrant.

During a search, officers found a needle hidden in one of Rex's socks.He was placed in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville on the warrant issued for failure to appear before the district magistrate. Rush Township Police filed additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
