A truck and a van collided along Interstate 81 in Kline Township, Schuylkill County, on Tuesday at 6:41 a.m.

State police at Frackville said Manuel S. Morrobel Dela Cruz, 59, of Hazleton, driving a 1995 Ford Windstar van, and Tyler R. Crowl, 20, of Dover, York County, driving a 2004 Peterbilt truck, were both southbound in the right lane.Morrobel Dela Cruz began to slow down while rounding a left curve.Crowl did not observe Morrobel Dela Cruz slowing with his truck striking the driver's side of the van.A passenger with Morrobel Dela Cruz, Gerardo Polanco, 48, of Hazleton, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton Campus by McAdoo ambulance.The driver, four other passengers, and Crowl were not injured.Troopers cited Crowl for the crash.
