Rush Township police have identified the suspect wanted in connection with a retail theft and assault at the HT Commons Walmart on Dec. 29.

Matthew W. Wurst, 26, of Jim Thorpe, will be charged with retail theft, simple assault and criminal conspiracy in connection with the 7:29 p.m. incident.Wurst took merchandise valued at $494.42.
