Tamaqua police cited two juveniles for retail theft after an incident on Jan. 8.

The 15- and 16-year-old males entered the Rite Aid Store on Center Street around 11:30 a.m. Each took a Monster energy drink. One of the teens was caught by an employee.The drink was recovered, but the teen fled the store. He and his friend were caught by police a few minutes later.The employee was able to positively identify the teens.
