A Carbon County woman has been charged with retail theft following an incident earlier this month.

Mahoning Township Police said that at 3:03 p.m. Jan. 12, police were dispatched to Walmart for a retail theft.Loss prevention reported a theft of $208.52 in merchandise.Jennifer Diefenderfer, 32, of Jamestown, has been charged with retail theft, a misdemeanor.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 10.
