A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash after she reached for her cellphone while driving. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred at 6:54 p.m. on Sunday along Peach Mountain Road, in Norwegian Township.

Troopers said Gypsy L. Williams, 35, of Pottsville, was driving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata southbound when she reached for her cellphone to make a call. The car went onto the berm and struck an embankment, the rolled over a came to rest on the yellow line in the middle of the road facing south.Williams was not injured but troopers said her vehicle sustained "significant" damage and was towed from the scene. Williams was cited for the crash.
