A Schuylkill County resident is facing a charge of retail theft.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Carol Talanca, 34, of Frackville, walked into Kohl's Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, in Norwegian Township, at 2:18 p.m. Tuesday and left the store with merchandise valued at $29.99 without paying for it. Charges will be filed.
