Police are looking for information about a dog abandoned in Pocono Summit last week.

On May 1, police responded to a report of an abandoned dog tied to a tree.The tan female pitbull was tied to a tree with a 2-foot long leash.Police said the dog appeared to have recently been nursing pups.The dog was tied to the tree at least between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Pocono Mountain Regional Police at 570-895-2400.
