Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash investigated by state police at the Fogelsville barracks at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 26 on Sell Road in Lowhill Township.

Police said one of the drivers, Joanne E. Mazzucco, 46, of Schnecksville, and a passenger in the second vehicle, Sarah A. Turner, 22, of Kempton, were injured.Police said the crash occurred when Justin A. Turner, 26, also of Kempton, was traveling eastbound in a 1999 Toyota 4Runner when he began to slide on ice.The vehicle went out of control and slid into the oncoming lane, where it struck a 2016 Lincoln Navigator driven by Mazzucco. The latter vehicle then struck a mailbox and went into a ditch on the north side of the roadway.After the initial impact, Turner's vehicle continued east on Sell Road, striking an embankment on the south side of the road.Police said both vehicles needed to be towed.
