Both sides in a domestic dispute are facing charges, with one ending up in jail for allegedly pointing a gun at the other during the incident.
State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred at 138 Crabapple Tree Lane, in Kunkletown, Polk Township. Troopers said Gary Rice and Ira Gutchin, who reside there, became involved in a dispute in which each assaulted the other.
Rice also threatened Gutchin with a handgun.
Rice was taken into custody and lodged in the county prison in Snydersville for the gun threat. The investigation is continuing, troopers said.
