Tamaqua police have cited Francesco Pavia, 24, of 226 North Ave., Jim Thorpe, for making threatening phone calls to a Tamaqua man.

The victim contacted police on July 6 to file a complaint after Pavia made more than a dozen calls to his cellphone, leaving lewd and threatening messages. When questioned by officers, Pavia said he was going to continue calling the victim.He was cited for harassment.
