Two women were cited by Tamaqua police for passing bad checks at the office of District Judge Stephen Bayer.

Serina Diane Good, 37, of Railroad Street, Wilkes-Barre, issued a check in the amount of $128.50, which was returned marked insufficient funds.The check was dated May 10.Michelle D. McAloose, 57, of Arlington Street, Tamaqua, wrote a check in the amount of $145.50, dated April 27.The check was returned marked insufficient funds.
