State police at Schuylkill Haven reported the following incidents:

Man cited for harassment:A Schuylkill County man was cited for harassment following an incident that was reported on Monday at 7:10 a.m.State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to a residence along Dietrich Avenue in Porter Township. On scene troopers learned that Rodney Clyde Messner, 51, of Tremont, grabbed a 38-year-old woman from Halifax by the throat and pushed her.Burglary:A burglary at a Schuylkill County residence is being investigated.Police said a home along Running Deer Road in Wayne Township was entered through a screen window. Once inside the criminals removed several pieces of jewelry. The incident occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Oct. 1.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
