State police at Frackville are investigating a reported incident in which someone forged voter registration applications for two New Ringgold area residents.

Troopers said on Oct. 9 an unknown person filed fraudulent state voter registration applications for a 46-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman which changed their party affiliation from Republican to Democrat.The victims were made aware of these changes on Oct. 21 by the Schuylkill County voter registration office, which sent them new voter registration cards.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
