State police at the Lehighton barracks said two dachshund puppies were stolen from the pet department of the Country Junction store, 6585 Interchange Road, Towamensing Township, between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said video surveillance shows a Hispanic girl, about 16 years of age; a black girl, approximately 16; and a black man, believed to be around 18, entering the store and stealing the two 8-week-old, reddish-brown puppies. The dogs were secured in a locked kennel that was forced open, police said.Police said the video surveillance depicted the suspects leaving the store and fleeing.
