Three-vehicle crash reported in Monroe

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a three-vehicle crash at 3:18 p.m. Nov. 5 at the intersection of Burger Hollow Road and Maple Spring Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Alexandria N. DiMarco, 20, of Kunkletown, was northbound on Burger Hollow Road while Kyawnna Q. Svendsen, 22, also of Kunkletown, was southbound. Victoria Kalina, 53, of Kunkletown, was stopped for a stop sign on Maple Spring Drive.Troopers said DiMarco attempted to make a left turn onto Maple Spring Drive when the front of her 2014 Toyota Camry was struck by the front of Svendsen's 2007 Dodge Caliber.After impact the Camry spunand slid into the front end of Kalina's 2010 Ford Edge. The Caliber spunafter impact and came to rest across both lanes of travel, as did the Camry.DiMarco and Svendsensuffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Luke's Monroe Campus by West End ambulance. Kalina was not injured.The Camry and Dodge had to be towed from the scene while the Ford had minor damage.
