McAdoo police filed charges against Jesus Pujols-Mejia, 23, of Hazleton after a domestic incident on Nov. 3.

Officers received a report about a domestic assault in progress in the 100 block of Blaine Street at 2:05 p.m. When they arrived they spoke with the victim, who said Pujols-Mejia began arguing with her, then grabbed her by the neck. At one point he bit her hand, breaking the skin on one of her knuckles. He fled when she called police.He was cited for simple assault.
