Anneury Vasquez Adames, 27, of Hazleton, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:09 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said the severity of his injuries is unknown. He was transported to an area hospital by the Pocono Mountain Regional EMS unit.Police said he was driving a 2010 Infiniti G37 that crashed into a tree.Vasquez Adames will be cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.The vehicle was towed from the scene.
