Tamaqua police calls

Tamaqua police cited several people in recent incidents.

Lisa M. Cope, 51, with a last known address on Hunter Street in Tamaqua, was cited for theft on Nov. 22. The victim told police that Cope was at her home to use the phone. When she mentioned that she was cold, the victim went upstairs to get her a pair of gloves. Cope then left the home taking the gloves and an iPhone SE that wasn't hers.Tina Marie Salko, 49, of 231 Cedar St., Tamaqua, was cited for allowing her black Labrador retriever to run at large. The dog reportedly charged a woman and her dog who were walking to the rear of 222 E. Broad St.William Ladlee, 35, of 27 Clay St., Tamaqua, was cited for retail theft after he tried to sneak three Hershey bars from Boyer's Food Mart on Center Street. Ladlee was caught in the act on Nov. 24.Sarina Marie Gillott, 26, of 221 Pine Hill Road, New Ringgold, was cited for harassment on Nov. 25 after she reportedly yelled at and banged on another woman's car. The incident happened in a parking lot on Cedar Street.
