Pocono Mountain Regional Police report the following incidents:

• Austin C. Lamarco, 21, of Pocono Summit, was arrested on drug-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver, after he was stopped while speeding in his vehicle at 2:25 a.m. Dec. 19 on Route 940 in Monroe County.Police said they saw two vehicles that appeared to be racing and later stopped the lead vehicle which they said was traveling 68 mph in a 45 mph zone at the intersection of Route 940 and Summit Avenue in Coolbaugh Township.Police detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After a search, they found a large quantity of marijuana packaged for sale inside the vehicle.Lamarco was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, criminal use of a device, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.• Police arrested Brandon J. Meier, 20, of Pocono Summit, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 1:10 a.m. Dec. 20 on Route 314 at the Kalahari Waterpark entrance.Meier was stopped for a traffic violation of having tinted taillights.Police detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and found drugs and paraphernalia.
