Criminal Mischief incidents

State police at Lehighton are investigating the following criminal mischief cases:

•A Kunkletown woman reported someone threw an egg at an open window at 10:19 p.m. Dec. 27 at the 1500 block of Leisure Terrace in Polk Township. The egg went through the window screen and struck a fan.•A 79-year-old man from the 1100 block of Meixsell Valley Road, Saylorsburg reported someone struck and damaged his mailbox with an unknown object at 10:15 p.m. Saturday.•A 51-year-old woman from Saylorsburg reported someone threw a beer bottle at her second-floor window at 11:55 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Highpoint Drive, causing about $500 in damages.State police at Frackville are investigating the following criminal mischief case• Trevor Gibas, 23, of Cumbola, is facing summary charges for criminal mischief at a Blythe Township residence.Police said at 11:09 p.m. Dec. 29, Gibas went to a housein the 100 block of East Market Street and asked a 24-year-old man from Cumbola if he could come in. He was told no, so he allegedly kicked in the front door, causing the frame of crack. The estimated damages are $250.
