Two people were cited for trespassing on property owned by the West Penn Rod and Gun Club.

Tamaqua Police received a call about a possible violation of a protection from abuse order involving David John Brode, 22, of 534 Pine St., Tamaqua. The caller suggested Brode might be found in a trailer located on gun club property on route 309.Officers went to the trailer and found Brode and Karlie Whispell, 18, of Tamaqua.Property owners told officers that Brode had been warned before to stay away from club property. Whispell is not a club member and was therefore also trespassing.Brode was also cited for indirect criminal contempt for violating the PFA. he was arraigned before duty District Magisterial Judge David Rossi and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
