Two officials of the borough of Girardville were cited on Friday for being involved in an altercation inside the borough officers along North Fourth Street.

State police at Frackville said Robert A. Krick, 64, and Edward F. Burns, 64, were both issued citations for harassment. Krick is the vice president of borough council and Burns is a former mayor and current chairman of the municipal authority.The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. Troopers did not indicate what the altercation was about.
