McAdoo police recently filed charges in several cases.

Thomas Gaughan Sr., 55, currently an inmate in the Schuylkill County Prison, was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct after he was found scrounging for cigarette butts at the Fegley Mini Mart on Oct. 9, 2016. Gaughan is banned from the store but continues to trespass.Jayson Delgado-Ortiz, 33, of Reading and Oscar Vazquez-Diaz, 22, currently an inmate in the Berks County Prison, were charged after a traffic stop on March 25. The vehicle they were in was stopped for tinted windows and the officer noted a strong odor of marijuana in the car.Officers found a small amount of marijuana, a grinder and a glass pipe. Both men were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Delgado-Ortiz was also charged with the window tint violation and for driving with a suspended license.
