I totally agree with the comments regarding the JROTC program. My youngest grandson was in this program in New Jersey. His grades were poor, no discipline and bad study habits. An accident waiting to happen.After he was enrolled in the program there was a 180 degree turn around. He was in charge of the drill team and traveled around New Jersey in competitions and placed first in all activities. And was on the honor roll each marking period.In fact, he was recognized by the county he lived in as the MOST IMPROVED STUDENT. The program does work. I and his family are very proud of him and his efforts.Ken Treger,Lehighton
