State police at Frackville are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said an unknown type vehicle was traveling eastbound on North St., in Middleport, about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, when it veered to the right and struck a fence, damaging a metal post. The driver then fled the scene.
