American Red Cross Blood Drives has scheduled the following blood drives:

* Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Subway, 44 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive, Lehighton.* Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 2 to 6 p.m., Palmerton Borough Hall, 443 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.* Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 from 1 to 6 p.m., St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 414 Berwick Street, White Haven.* Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 1 to 6 p.m., Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton.There are currently shortages of O negative and B negative donors and demand has remained steady for those blood types.
