Delbert R. Green, seaman, second class, USNR, of East Mauch Chunk, and other crewmen of the Aircrafter Carrier Boxer in Tokyo Bay, got their first look at Yokosuka when they were permitted to go ashore while the big vessel rode at anchor as part of the occupational forces. Yokosuka's new visitors found few articles worth buying to send home for souvenirs because of the damage that had been wrought by Allied bombing planes.
